UVC Air Recirculation Unit UVR-XS

The UVR-XS recirculating air disinfection system is a 40% more compact version of the sterilAir Original UVR-4K, specially developed for rooms with low ceilings, multiple levels or complex floor plans. With its double grid attachment, corrosion-free high-performance reflector and outstandingly high UVC dose, the sterilAir UVR-XS offers maximum disinfection performance with minimum space and maintenance requirements. UVC inactivates microorganisms without leaving any residue. Airborne mould and yeast spores, bacteria and viruses are disinfected 24/7 at an air flow rate of 270 m³ per hour.

Efficient UVC air sterilisation:
With its UVC-stable and corrosion-protected fan, the sterilAir UVR-XS generates a flow rate of 270 m³/h. The result is highly efficient air disinfection by recirculation. Thanks to the use of the intelligent CORE I electronic ballast, the UVC emitters are kept at optimum efficiency in a wide range of temperatures, even below 0°C. This ensures maximum disinfection performance at all times.

Thanks to the special air flow in the reaction chamber, the UVR-XS with two UVC tubes is able to inactivate mould spores (A.niger, A.brasiliensis), bacteria (E.coli, listeria) and viruses (influenza, corona). The core of the air sterilisation device, which is suitable for damp rooms, consists of a V4A stainless steel tube and is suspended from two mounting points.

Maximum work safety

The UVR-XS has newly developed, twist-proof protective grids on both sides. Made from UVC-stable plastic using latest 3D printing technology, these attachments function like a light trap without impairing the air flow and discharge range. Absorbing any UVC rays emitted by the sterilAir tubes inside, these grids allow perfectly safe operation of the UVR-XS system, even in rooms with very low ceiling height.

Hygienic Design

The UVR-XS can be quickly and easily disassembled for cleaning or maintenance purposes.
All components can be exchanged rapidly without special tools or skills.
