The calculation of a disinfection system depends on the use it is destined for, and is in principle influenced by a number of parameters, particularly the core factors of time and available radiation power. Almost exclusively, complex calculation algorithms based on series of measurements, the laws of physics, and empirically established figures are used for the calculation.
