Superstructure systems are the traditional UV systems for surface disinfection. The UVC radiation is bundled with the assistance of special reflectors and then focused on the surface to be radiated. The high radiation intensity inactivates microorganisms in the shortest time possible. The very low surface temperature of the sterilAir appliances (~ 41 °C) also allow safe disinfection for materials that are sensitive to heat.
With the sterilAir T2000 standard series surface disinfection modules, the UVC radiation is concentrated with the aid of a special reflector, and focused onto the surface to be disinfected. At the focus this leads to a radiation intensity increased by some 250% - and consequently leads to better disinfection results.
The T2004 surface disinfection system is a unit of modular design, which can be optimally adapted to any operating situation encountered. Starting with an appliance body of only 35 mm width per module, as many units as required may be combined together. Each of these modules is both a carrier and an independent supplier of an individual UV disinfection emitter.
